1000 series aluminum is also known as pure aluminum, which has the highest aluminum content (more than 99.00%). Its price is relatively cheap and it is also the most commonly used series, especially the 1050 and 1060 series. The aluminum content of the 1050 series is more than 99.5% and that of the 1060 series is more than 99.6%.

3000 series, including 3004, 3004, and 3104, is known as AL-Mn alloy, which is composed of 1.0-1.5% manganese elements. AL-Mn series is often used in humid environments such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and car bottoms. Its price is higher than that of the 1000 series.

The strength 3003 aluminum coil is slightly higher than that of the 1000 series. Its plasticity is high in annealed and semi-cold hardening states. But after cold work hardening, its plasticity and machinability are poor, but its corrosion resistance and weldability are getting better. Compared to 3003, the 3004 aluminum coil is of higher strength. Also, it has good processing performance, weldability, and corrosion resistance. 3104 aluminum alloy has high strength and excellent elongation, as well as good corrosion resistance, formability, and weldability. It is suitable for thinning and stretching to reduce material consumption.
5000 series, including 5005, 5083, 5052, etc., is the more commonly used series aluminum. The series is added 3-5% magnesium, so it is also known as aluminum-magnesium alloy. This aluminum series is processed by continuous casting and rolling technology and belongs to hot-rolled aluminum series, so it can also be further processed by oxidation. In China, the 5000 series aluminum is one of the more mature series. Its main features are low density, high tensile strength, and high elongation. The weight of the same area of the magnesium-aluminum alloy is lighter than that of other series of aluminum. Therefore, the 5000 series is often used in the aviation industry, such as aircraft fuel tanks.
